This year it was quite simple for me to think of the goals that I want to work towards.
If I do nothing else this year I will be happy if I focus mostly on wellbeing and what that means for me.
Healthier Eating
Something that I was trying to do last year was to decrease the amount of meat that I was eating. This year I plan to take this more seriously and aim to eat five days a week for my lunches to be vegan.
Read more often
Read one book for 15 minutes a day. I have found that I get through a book this way and don’t end up forgetting about it.
Become qualified as a girl guide leader
I am hoping that COVID permitting I can be completely qualified within the first half of the year.
Creative Projects
Make sure I continue to be creative and don’t become bored with projects half way through.
Become an independent driver
For those of you that live in the UK the driving system is quite different in Australia. I have my L plates but I am hoping to progress and get my first P plate in the first half of the year.
Move to Melbourne
Sydney is fantastic. Although it is much cheaper than living in London the cost of living is still expensive. Melbourne also has more character than Sydney. It has many more antique and vintage shops, lots of character and history. I have a feeling that being there will be more true to my personality, more things that I enjoy doing. We’ll see once I get there!
What are your goals for the new year? Are you challenging yourself this year or will you take a more relaxed approach?
Next time on the blog: a Letter from Elena turns one year old!
Email me if you would like to discuss anything I have written in this blog article
